Bodhipushpanjali Sponsor

Bodhipushanjalis are important events where the sangha and even non-sangha members gather to hear the teachings of H.E Sridhar Rana Rinpoche as presented and explained by Sahayak Dharmadhara Narayn Rijal (Assistant holder of dharma). Two types of sponsorship are available – Dharma Dan (offering of dharma texts/teachings) and Bhojan Dan (offering of food).

The Dharma Dan sponsor supports the presentation of the teaching, and the Bhojan Dan is to sponsor the food provided at the event. Bodhipushpanjalis are held on the first Saturday of every month in Nepal. In the UK and USA, dates vary.

Please contact Nepal | UK | USA for specific dates.

Translations and Publications

The Byoma Kusuma Translation Committee has translated various Buddhist Texts from the Tibetan and Sanskrit to Nepali and made them accessible to the Nepali community. The committee aims to continue translations of other important texts and make the teachings more readily available.

Now that two series of the Bodhipushpanjali have been successfully published in Nepali, the committee is working hard to quickly get to press the third book in the series. In addition, work is being done on the English versions of these teachings, so that Ratnashri's precious words are also accessible to non-Nepali speaking students and the general audience.

These translations and publications are very significant and help disseminate Buddha's teachings widely and effectively, so they are very worthy of your generous support.

Maitri Spharan – Radiating Loving Kindness

A special maître spharan (radiating loving kindness) meditation programme was initiated on the request of His Eminence Karma Thinley Rinpoche to pray for the victims of natural disaster and other calamities.

During unforeseen events, Sangha members meet on a weekly basis to conduct 12 hours of meditation to ward off obstacles that could potentially affect many sentient beings. The aspiration of such meditation is believed to have manifold positive results.

These sessions are carried out in our centres globally. If you wish to take part, please contact our offices in: Nepal | UK | USA

Amitabh Trust

The Amitabh Trust was established with the motivation to perform special rites for the deceased. Individuals can make their request in advance for a special chanting of the Amitabha Buddha at the time of their death or that of close family members/relatives/friends. The chanting will be conducted for 7 days on behalf of the deceased.

To record your wish, please complete the form and submit it with your contribution. Your request will be recorded and the appropriate rites performed on your behalf at the time of death. The minimum contribution is Rs. 10,000 (about U.S. $140). You can also make higher contributions for more elaborate rites. Alternatively, you can contribute to the general Amitabh Trust so that chantings can be performed for those not able to make contributions. Please contact Byoma Kusuma to discuss the rites in detail.
