Aug.3-10: To mark the precious occasion of Ratnashri's B'day, Sangha members in Bishalnagar, Kathmandu organized a host of events, which included: chanting Ratanshri's Long Life prayers, the Pragyaparamita sutra, Mandala offering, Long Life pujas, offering khadas (silk scarf) to Rinpoches and at various spiritually powerful locations, lighting butter lamps, feeding underprivileged people and releasing birds. Shyabdrung Rinpoche, Tharig Rinpoche and Asanga Rinpoche were invited and received by Venerable Jetsunma and S.S. Manik Dangol at the Bishalnagar monastery.
