May 15, Kathmandu: Sangha members received a wonderful news of an upcoming high-quality Crazy Cloud magazine, which will feature articles and photo features concerning Buddhism. The magazine, named after Most Respected Ratnashri's pet name, will debut on Ratnashri's birthday in August. The magazine, aimed towards the general populace, promises to be "a fun Buddhist magazine that is so attractive and unique that any recipient will be pleased to own it and on reading it, will gain some insight and inspiration to be a better, happier person," according to those leading the initiative. May 1, Kathmandu: Sangha members today offered mandala to His Eminence Asanga Rinpoche at the Tharlam Gumba in Boudha on the occasion of Rinpoche’s 12th birthday.

April 17, Kathmandu: French television station, Faut Pas Rever, covered sangha artists' ongoing Paubha painting on the walls of the main monastery hall. The program that will feature the footages is scheduled to be aired seven to eight months later in France, and, through TV 5, in Nepal. Sangha member Anurodh Rana coordinated the event.

April 15, Kathmandu: Sangha members marked the auspicious first day of Baisakh, the Nepali New Year, when Most Respected Ratnashri entered into his 21-year retreat 15 years ago, through regular chantings, and singing of songs, dohas, poems and offering silk scarfs to the Buddhas and the deities. Sangha member Neeta Karki was also bestowed with the title of Sahayak Samathacharaya. Venerable Jetsunma, Ratnashri's mother Mamu Shanti Rana, father Naranarayan S.J.B. Rana, Sahayak Dharmadhara Narayan Rijal, and more than 200 sangha members were present at the ceremony.

April 5, Kathmandu: In what comes as a great news to all sangha members, Byoma Kusuma's branch in Mahendranagar, the first one outside of Kathmandu in Nepal, has now become a popular center for Dharma enthusiasts in Nepal's Far West region. The center was established through the leadership of senior sangha member C.K. Singh, who is also a friend of Most Respected Ratnashri. The center provides authentic Buddhist teachings and an opportunity to excel in Buddhist meditation practices to people living in the Far West region. March 9, Kathmandu: Since March 19 (Chaitra 5) is Fagu Purnima (holi), Bodhipushpanjali for this month will be held on March 12. All sangha members in Kathmandu are kindly requested to pass on this message to fellow sangha members.

Feb 07, Kathmandu: The funeral procession of our beloved Khenpo Appye Rinpoche will start at 9 am from his residence at Tinchule (near H.E. Karma Thinley Rinpoche's Gompa) on 7th February. The procession will end at I.B.A. and the funeral process will begin. H.E. Sakya Trizin Rinpoche will lead the rituals at I.B.A. All sangha members in Kathmandu are kindly requested to be at Tinchule residence before 9am on 7th February and pay homage to our beloved guru by taking part in the procession. Respected Jetsunma will be arranging the procession on behalf of Byoma Kusuma.

January 30, Washington DC: This event will start at 3pm and will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Oakton VA. It will be held in the "Chapel". The workshop will be about two hours, then Prajwal et al will take a break and get ready for the performance, which will be another hour. So plan to be there until 7pm. Light refreshments and tea will be served. Dress for learning dance movements. Bring kids.
