Sahayak Samathacharya Anupama Dahal is an extraordinary practitioner. Her spontaneously arising songs, now numbering over a thousand in various languages, about different aspects of the Buddha Dharma has given her a new recognition as a spiritual singer in Nepal and abroad. She launched her music album 'Pagala Badal' (Crazy Cloud) in 2008, which brought her to the attention of the Nepali news media. She was subsequently featured in leading Nepali newspapers and magazines, such as Kantipur, Annapurna Post, Samacharpatra, News Front and Knowledge. She has also appeared on several radio and television talk programs. Her first music concert – in collaboration with renowned Nepali folk music band Kutumba – in 2009 was a huge success in terms of participation as well as the quality of the program. S.S. Dahal is currently taking an eight-year course on Indian classical music from Gurukul music school. She continues to spread her positive, spiritual messages through her songs and lectures at different venues, including schools and colleges of Nepal.
